If you're able to visit AWBingoX on Christmas Day, you'll find some find
very special Christmas surprises in store for you. First of all, maki created a very, very special display which will be shown just before the first bingo game, and then periodically throughout the games. It's magical, it's wonderful, there's never been anything like it before in Active Worlds, and it's an absolute delight to behold. Also, you'll find Santa Claus and Mrs Claus themselves in attendance at the games this year! I decorated the world this year, and I'd like extend my thanks to Lady Murasaki, Paul, Johnny B, and Sonja for use of their lovely models, and to Sonja for use of the custom Santa Claus and Mrs Claus avatars she made me. These wonderful artists give us a gift every day of the year by sharing their wonderful artistic talent with us. An extra special thanks to maki for your time, perseverance, and creativity, and creating for the community a little bit of what Christmas is all about... magic :) Great job, my friend. Bingo starts at 5pm VRT on Christmas Day in AWBingoX. Merry Christmas! Kerstin Christmas Day Bingo Surprises!Dec 24, 2002, 9:55pm

No, wiz, I did not use any of your models in my build in AWBingo.
If you are referring to prizes, I have nothing to do with them. I don't run bingo, and I don't even know what the prizes are, or who has donated them -- I was simply asked by Daphne to build the world. Period. End of my involvement. If you donated a prize, and you are looking for a public thank you for it, perhaps you can contact AWinc or maybe Daphne, and ask them to post a thank you to you. SL sends an email to everyone who applies. But they only send subsequent
emails to those that are accepted into the beta. I suspect that you didn't meet the minimum requirements posted. If you email me privately, and tell me what you were missing, I'll see what I can do. More beta testers are now needed. So far as cool screenshots go, I will soon have a web site up and running about Second Life (Your2ndLife.com). I have Linden Labs's permission to post screenshots, and to describe what I see and do in there. I'm very excited about this, because I've just been bursting to tell people about it. Second Life is very stable, and I have every reason to believe it will be released as scheduled. And when it is, it's gonna blow everything else right out of the water. Kerstin [View Quote] |
