bassa // User SearchA post of gratitude and appreciationDec 2, 2003, 1:56am
I would like to take a moment of attention away from all the flame posts,
and talk about something completely different.. For over 4 years now I have been a citizen in AW.. and I thought now, being between (for some) thanksgiving and christmas, would be the right time to utter my special thanks. I would like to thank all the people I have met in aw during the years. For better or worse, you have all in your own ways allowed me to get to know maybe only a little part of yourselves. You are all individuals, different and special. You all made an impression, so thanks for adding more diversity to the full picture! Thanks to all world owners, builders and modelers out there who devote so much of your time to show us all something. You work hard on your items and alow people to take share in your talents. Anyone ever thought of exactly how many thoughts lie behind even a very simple build? All artists add a part of themselves in their builds...their contributions are personal and precious and will bring forth a certain reaction from anyone who sees it. Thanks for letting us react #:) Also a thanks goes out to all the people who does something special and make a difference. We are all given a special energy, and we all have a certain influence. My gratitude goes to those who use this energy for something positive, wether it be events or bots or a simple helping hand. Without all this, our aw community would not be a community at all.. This is my personal and public thanks to you all. No matter who you are, you all made some sort of contribution, a difference in someone else's life. It's your own choice to make it a positive experience for which people will indeed be grateful. Keep in mind that your energy is best spent on positive things. Enemies get you nowhere - friends can get you everywhere! Now that it has all been said..I will curl up in my bed again and remain silent in the newsgroups for another 4 years #:) -Bassa |
