Hello there!

I am currently researching cyber societies for a paper or book chapter
(depends how good it ends up being!) on life in alternative worlds. As a
part of my research, I'm sending out this questionnaire to people who are
particularly busy citizens of Activeworlds worlds, and you are among the
chosen people! (lucky you!) Either that or you volunteered; in which case,
thank you!

If you could spare a few minutes to send me a reply, it would be very much
appreciated!

All questions are optional - answer whichever you like. Those you don't care
to answer, feel free to leave and move on the next.

BTW, I, too, have immigrated to AW with the aim of joining a colony on Mars.
Any info you can share about life on Mars would therefore be especially
welcome (god knows I need some company there!)

6. How much time per day/week do you spend at on-line at AW?

7. What was your motive for immigrating to AW?

10. Does your online persona differ from the 'real' you? If so, how?

11. Is it easier to talk to people online than offline?

12. How do you spend you time in AW?

16. What would like be like if AW suddenly vanished?

17. Can the 'real' world learn anything from AW?
