aworld.ini :

[Universe]
host=host.imatowns.com
no port= entry (default)

has free citizenships for a while

....not working for me. I added that snip to the top of my .ini without the
second line... Am I just slow, or is your univ. down?

Not my universe, I just visited today and saw it.

Maybe you have a second [Universe] section?
There should already be one that has to be replaced, not added

by default there is no [universe] section in the browser
