Just came across this rather interesting new article which I was alerted to
just now.

Online software provider Activeworlds (AWLD: news, chart) said late Friday
that it has an agreement to join operations with Aladdin Systems Holdings
(ALHI: news, chart) , maker of the Stuffit data compression program. Under a
formula for combining ownership and exchanging Aladdin shares for
Activeworlds shares, Aladdin would hold 60 percent of the entity but that
stake would adjust based on the assets of each company. Aladdin would name
four of the company's seven board members. The deal, contingent on board
approvals and due diligence, also stipulates a reverse stock split after a
merger that would keep Activeworlds' stock above $1.25.
