Christmas Day Bingo Surprises! (Community)
Christmas Day Bingo Surprises! // Community
Dec 24, 2002, 10:36am
If you're able to visit AWBingoX on Christmas Day, you'll find some find
very special Christmas surprises in store for you. First of all, maki
created a very, very special display which will be shown just before the
first bingo game, and then periodically throughout the games. It's magical,
it's wonderful, there's never been anything like it before in Active Worlds,
and it's an absolute delight to behold. Also, you'll find Santa Claus and
Mrs Claus themselves in attendance at the games this year!
I decorated the world this year, and I'd like extend my thanks to Lady
Murasaki, Paul, Johnny B, and Sonja for use of their lovely models, and to
Sonja for use of the custom Santa Claus and Mrs Claus avatars she made me.
These wonderful artists give us a gift every day of the year by sharing
their wonderful artistic talent with us.
An extra special thanks to maki for your time, perseverance, and creativity,
and creating for the community a little bit of what Christmas is all
about... magic :) Great job, my friend.
Bingo starts at 5pm VRT on Christmas Day in AWBingoX.
Merry Christmas!
Kerstin

Well CarL, then you go enjoy your "life." It must not be that great, seeing
as how you have to brag about it here and put everyone else down while doing
so.

Carl for your information, my family does most of its activities on
Christmas eve, and Christmas day we go to my grandmothers for about an hour
and then come home, and enjoy the rest of the holiday by ourselves. Before
you go around saying that the way you do Christmas activities is the only
way think. You need to think before you speak...

No... if you had a life you may have enough life experience to realise that
insult to peoples hard work to give people something enjoyable to do on
christmas will get you flamed and crushed into dust.
How do you know that people wont bring their families on for a game of bingo
etc at christmas after dinner?

well, thats good for you, but dont try to put down others just because you
might have developed a life. don't try saying things you think would make
you look cool, cuz it doesn't. act yourself, and even if you think a certain
post is geekish, either reply something nice or ignore it. unless ofcourse
the author is an idiot, and writing stupid things, which is not the case
here.

lol see. this always happens! you write what you think would make you more
respected, then what happens is the total opposite, and you end up
appoliges, all because you write what you think will amke you look cool
instead of what you think.

No, wiz, I did not use any of your models in my build in AWBingo.
If you are referring to prizes, I have nothing to do with them. I don't run
bingo, and I don't even know what the prizes are, or who has donated them --
I was simply asked by Daphne to build the world. Period. End of my
involvement.
If you donated a prize, and you are looking for a public thank you for it,
perhaps you can contact AWinc or maybe Daphne, and ask them to post a thank
you to you.
Merry Christmas --
Kerstin
