ActiveWorlds Webring - Is Anyone Interested In Resurrecting It?? // Communitypc hamsterJun 18, 2003, 5:42am
Hi everyone:
Last night, I noticed that the ActiveWorlds Webring no longer exists on Webring.com Dunno if this was AWI 's doing, WebRing.com's doing, or whether it was just a case of people having a problem with all the popups WebRing.com has on its servers. I am wondering if anyone is interested in a resurrection of that ring, but this time on Bravenet, where there no popups 9or at least no LOADS N LOADS of 'em like WebRing.com has). If so, I'd be interested in running it (got the original logo too). Comments?? Questions?? Tar?? Feathers?? Flames?? C'mon! Let's hear 'em!! :-) Cheers for now :-) Patrick Cook (e.g. PC Hamster) Mayor - City of Hamsterville pchamster at attbi.com Denver, Colorado (my REAL city :-)) --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Webrings are easy to make (especially the script), all you need is a
server with php or cgi to host the webring script. -- --Bowen-- bastillionJun 18, 2003, 12:41pm
Which webring.com are you talking about?
I have this ActiveWorlds webring saved in my Favorites, and it came up just fine for me: http://h.webring.com/hub?ring=activeworlds&list&page=0 Bastillion The Bastion (AW 1206n 7750w) www.geocities.com/basti_02 [View Quote] |
