NEEDED: URLs To VR TV Networks // Communitypc hamsterJul 2, 2003, 7:49am
Hi everyone:
I am in the midst of adding a whole bunch of TVs to my latest build HOWEVER I don't wanna just put in a whole bunch of TVs and NOT have them do anything. I want to use them to showcase Hamsterville's TV stations (yes...you heard me....TV stations) which are, FWIW, as follows.... KZOA-TV Channel 2 (which may have its virtual call letters changed to KSMW if a certain of mine who's also an AW cit objects to the use of the ZOA suffix :-)) KPDC-TV Channel 4 KBXD-TV Channel 5 (which may have its broadcast originated from the nearby town of Tasperity Falls) KOBE-TV Channel 8 (this station originates from the nearby town of Obeville) WHAM-TV Channel 11 I'm not sure just which station will be with which network as I haven't made up my mind just yet, but having those URLs WOULD be VERY nice and MOST appreciated. :-) In the meantime....I look forward to any replies there may be :-) Cheers for now :-) Patrick Cook Mayor - City Of Hamsterville pchamster at comcast.net (NEW ADDRESS) Denver, Colorado (my REAL city :-)) --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Hi everyone:
[View Quote] After EXTENSIVE searching on Google, I found a cached version of the ActiveWorlds TV Directory at http://216.239.53.100/search?q=cache:QlxR1UumfRIJ:awtaz.net/ctv/website/stat ion/+XEON-TV&hl=en&ie=UTF-8 (apologies if this isn't clickable) and have signed the following stations in the Hamsterville area onto the following networks... > KZOA-TV Channel 2 (which may have its virtual call letters changed to KSMW > if a certain of mine who's also an AW cit objects to the use of the ZOA > suffix :-)) This station is now with DFTV. > KPDC-TV Channel 4 This station is now an AIR-TV affiliate. > KBXD-TV Channel 5 (which may have its broadcast originated from the nearby > town of Tasperity Falls) This station is now with VWTV. > KOBE-TV Channel 8 (this station originates from the nearby town of > Obeville) This station is now a CTV affiliate. > WHAM-TV Channel 11 This station is now with the (currently) almighty XEON-TV. If I need to complete affiliation forms, I will do so at the earliest possible convience (sp?). I would suggest people BOOKMARK the above URL as I don't know how long Google will keep this page. Once again, the URL for VRTV Networks (for those who need it) is as follows.... http://216.239.53.100/search?q=cache:QlxR1UumfRIJ:awtaz.net/ctv/website/stat ion/+XEON-TV&hl=en&ie=UTF-8 > Cheers for now :-) > > Patrick Cook > Mayor - City Of Hamsterville > pchamster at comcast.net (NEW ADDRESS) > Denver, Colorado (my REAL city :-)) --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Hi everyone:
[View Quote] Thanks Bud. :-) I'm now monitoring each of my stations to see if their network feeds are worth keeping (I've already had to change the network for channel 8 as I went from CTV to FireTV. Channel 2 may be next if things don't improve with DFTV :-/ ). BTW....my stations will only relay network feeds until I get me some bots (and perhaps a few cits willing to run a few of the stations) for local stuff. :-) Cheers for now :-) Patrick --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Hi everyone:
[View Quote] They're all put in HOWEVER does ANYONE have the 411 on Dremland Television?? How 'bout CETV?? VisionTV?? I could use a better network for Channel 2 (and probably 8 as well) than I'm getting from the old TV Directory..... Other networks not listed would also be useful as well.... :-) Cheers for now :-) Patrick --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
