well maybe its just you bowen, cuz every time Ive contacted AWI, they've
gotten back to me withing 48 hrs =) of course it probably helps if youre
nagging them about something thats actually important.

Customer support is a whole different ballgame. We're talking about the
product here. Most companies actually get back to you within 6 hours if
they're any good. AWI has almost no customer base, 48 hours is absurd
for a response.

Not really if you consider the low amount of AW staff. and last time I
heard, there were only 3 programmers working on AW, 1 of which just joined
during 3.1's development. You cant possibly please hundreds of people with
only 3 people programming AW. And as for tech support-many companies Ive
contacted have taken anywhere from 24hrs to a week to respond. Because of
the limited AW staff, Id say their response time is pretty damn good. And
you have to realize, AWI probably sorts through tons of crap emails a day
from people complaining about dumb stuff. Not to mention-Mountain Myst is
the one who answers customer support, and I'm sure that isnt her only job in
AW. AW isnt large enough to hire people just to answer emails all day like
big corporations. I find it actually pretty cool of them to ask for the
citizens input for the future upgrades. They listen to community ideas, but
by all logical reasoning, if your ideas suck, of course they wont include
them. And if you think it takes AW too long to get back to you-theres a
phone # on their site. Id suggest you call there if you want to be picky.

Yeah, because they actually do things and care about customer opinion...
instead of sitting like bumps on a log.
I don't suppose you'd appreciate being reported to the BBB for customer
harrassment?

Nope, he is the CEO. I could file, the BBB could do an investigation,
find that this is more common place than just one instance, sue the
company, refund the customers that have been "owned." Or, 0wnz0r3d in

Sarcasm is meant to be clear and concise or else it defeats it's own
purpose. Mine was obviously sarcasm (yet you probably didn't notice it
until I pointed it out) which is why you most likely responded with sarcasm.

OK, let's take your drunk hand away from the spacebar area and go check
out the types of complaints the BBB does handle:
* Misleading Advertising.
* Improper Selling Practices.
* Non-delivery of Goods or Services.
* Misrepresentation.
* Unhonored Guarantees or Warranty.
* Unsatisfactory Service.
* Credit/billing Problems.
* Unfulfilled Contracts.
Please direct your attention to * number 6. Possibly * number 2. One
could argue that they could change the EULA that would allow them to act
the way they do, but you cannot change a contract mid-contract (and
companies that have done this for paid services have been found at fault
in court).

for the love of god, get a grip bowen. you are perhaps the pickiest person I
have ever met. you debate every little feature and can never accept others
views because you are so damn close minded. you make empty threats to get
your point across, but to me, you just come off as completely arrogant.
perhaps thats why no one in AWI takes you seriously? you are an unreasonable
person and totally negative. you have managed to turn a simple post
regarding a new form of government for AW into a petty fight regarding the
correct uses of sarcasm.I'm going to shut up now because arguing with you is
like talking to a rock. a rock with an attitude. So if we could get back to
the real point of this topic, thatd be peachy. knowing you however, you will
probably just reply with more BS because you have to have the last word in
everything.

The funny thing about newsgroups, they're voluntary. If anyone's at
fault for wasting time it's the people who complain about reading
voluntary material that can easily be filtered. Right Baro?

I debate, therefore I am.
If you're saying talking to me is like talking to a rock... then you
can't say a rock with an attitude because that defeats the purpose of
your analogy. Which one is it, a rock, or someone who annoys you? This
is a newsgroup, SOMEONE is going to have the last word. By the way,
it's not always there are some threads where the other person got the
last word. Sure, I'll keep arguing if you want to keep it going too.

All the BBB will do is take your complaint and post it on their web site for
people to see if they check out aw. I doubt they take people to court.
Unless you are willing to pay for the procedings.
