Get a better "hot spots" section in the newsletter // CommunityferruccioDec 16, 2003, 11:51pm
There are always new buildings popping up in AWI's main worlds.
Unfortunately for AlphaWorld, the only "hot spots" shown in the newsletter are ancient places built over 7 years ago. The newsletter needs a "hot spots" section for AlphaWorld, with all new builds, because frankily... builders have a lot more capability of making impressive things these days, so why not show some of them in the newsletter? daphneDec 17, 2003, 10:45am
Hello Ferruccio....
You write the article, take a screen capture, put them in a nice .zip file and send it to newsletter at activeworlds.com ... That is the best way to see what you want added to the AW Newsletter... *hug* Daphne [View Quote] ci. simple folkDec 17, 2003, 1:43pm
Im going to have to agree with Ferruccio, it would be really interesting to
find maybe 3 or 5 good builds in AW, get some guy to work with AW and its builders to see whats hot, the things being built in AW now are quite remarkable. lady nighthawkDec 17, 2003, 1:55pm
Seems my Winter Wonderland in Aeon didn't make the newsletter ... no crisis
but please do stop by and have a look! Lady NightHawk [View Quote] ferruccioDec 17, 2003, 6:44pm
I would love to type up an article for the newsletter, but how do you know
that I won't just be wasting my time? I type it up.. send the email, and what if they completely ignore it? [View Quote] ci. simple folkDec 18, 2003, 1:11am
This isn't a reassuring world Ferr, you type it up, send it, and hope for
the best, do you realize how many crappy things there would be if what we all typed got publicized? (just look at this forum) ferruccioDec 18, 2003, 1:22am
exactly, as you know I am not that great of a typer, it would be great if it
were someone with actual composition skill to type up a hot spots section for AW [View Quote] sw comitDec 18, 2003, 9:56pm
Just arrange with them that you'll be a regular hot spot submitter and you
won't have to worry about it. That's what I did when I ran CLC =X [View Quote] sw chrisDec 19, 2003, 7:48am
How about I edit it for you? You type it up, I'll clean it up. And send it
in under both our names? Chris [View Quote] |
