Why? There are plenty of much more 'deserving' worlds that could use a
community. Heck, alpha world seems to be dieing lately.

AW is the world that needs all the attention and improvements right now.
Its sheer size is enough to make for good advertising (Come visit active
worlds! Alpha World is 104% larger than california!) but there still needs
to be more. What about a large cell limit? come on, we can't keep appealing
to those with uber slow computers anymore. If the program costs $70.00 a
year now, it puts the price in the league of MMORPGs that require fast
computers. bah I'm doing it again....

so true. we also need more citizen exclusive items for this to even be WORTH
70 bucks a year.

Yellow died when AW killed the tourists. Is that somewhat anti-american to
not allow tourists in a National Park. Kind of ironic anyway.
I was a long time Yellow cit. A group of people in a very active
controversual world. Trouble makers we were called. Maybe trouble but was a
fun active world. Many becoming cits because of the friendships and freedom
in that world. For many years the cits argued over the G rating, even
staging strikes (bitchfest as it was called LOL). AW gave in by giving
another world WildAW. That is not what the cits wanted or needed. They
needed Yellow to be a place that was rated higher than G. Cits started
leaving, tired of being treated as children. AW increased the rating to PG
but then stated ok PG but not at GZ,. Then they killed the tourists. Yellow
died, Mars died, Alpha (our second home) died. Just another example of AW
not listening to what the people need. No problem, life goes on LOL
I have one build in Yellow, a territory that I protected and built in. Yes,
protected against tourist by destruction of their ugly builds (I would copy
and protect the good ones, destroy floating toilets LOL)...Mean? Nahh....was
part of the game. I protected my territory, and many many of those tourists
learned a good lesson and became cits to build and protect their own. It was
fun times of building, hunting, helping the good newbies and making
friendships at same time. Over time my build got bigger, now being I think
maybe the longest building leading to the biggest building in AW. (*pats own
back). If you would like to see what you can do in a world with lousy
objects (was only world my old computer could handle for building) with a
bit of imagination, please feel free to visit 400N 400E Yellow where the
main teleports are located. Its a sad and lonely place my old home world and
willl continue to be empty for as long as AW insists on being stubborn about
both not letting tourists visit and charging worlds for tourist access....AW
will continue to die

I went to Tport Center you gave the coords to, sweets. I had no idea that
was there. Pretty slick. : )
And LQQKIE what I found ... ROTFLMFAO!!!!!!!

Ode to Tourists
Where have all their buildings gone? .. long time passing .. where have all
their buildings gone? .. long time ago .. sweets has trashed them .. every

Yes I remember sweets, long time chatter at the GZ (under the tree if i
remember?)
I miss yellows activity, but I agree, alphaworld needs more attention right
now.

haha yes that little Ode was written for me by a friend long ago. I was a
destroyer as a tourist for a long long time before becoming Cit. That person
convinced me to try my hand at building (or should I say over-building heh)
and after all that time as a destroyer I found I had also a skill as a
builder LOL. I then got my Cit in order to protect my builds but I continued
in my merciless destruction of bad builds at Yellow LMAO....Yes tourists are
necessary as they are the future AW cits once pissed off at me enough. Still
believe I should have got a commission for every pissed off tourist that
became a Cit because of me....I would be a rich woman now *winks

yes...my tree LOL. It is not only Alpha that needs a boost. It is the holy
trinity Yellow, Mars and Alpha. When the trinity of Yellow, Mars and Alpha
are working the whole AW works....it rocked
