hey, anyone know how to get the password of a zipped file, if you have the
original unzipped one? no, not using it to steal objects! i forgot the
password to my spiral matrix op >_<

I do... how long was the pwd though?

9 letters. let me guess, it's a trial which only lets you get upto 4
letters?

Recovering a zip password is much faster if you have an unzipped copy of
the file.
There are algorythems that can compare the origional copy to the zipped
(and passworded) file and use that to aide in discovering the zip password.
This is why you get the advice not to zip files with a password that are
freely available elsewhere on the net. No matter how long/strong your
password is, it can be easily cracked if there is an non-password
protected version available.

ya, thats what i ment, i have the orignal unzipped files, since i made em,
and the passworded zip, now just need to get the password :)
