Potentially MAJOR Problem At AW GZ (Community)
Potentially MAJOR Problem At AW GZ // Community
Nov 1, 2004, 6:00am
Hi everyone:
Not to invite vandalism BUT....
I was hanging around at AW GZ and noticed that the area around 2S 2E IS NOT
COVERED!!! Furthermore, I found a couple signs that AWLD *DID NOT* put
there. they are underground in the general area. They're dated December
2003.
AWLD had BETTER fix this or else those two signs WILL NOT be the last ones
there. I know of the BI message of bjuilding within 112 meters of GZ, but
if AWLD doesn't get this fixed by COVERING THE LAND around there (like you
guys keep telling us to do), it'd be just their luck to have someone who
manages to crack AWLD's ppw and do some REAL damage there.
We're not talking about some tiny little crack here. we're talking about a
HUGE swath of UNCOVERED LAND that's big enough to EASILY duplicate a wall
object in (I know because I tried it and there was NO covered land around,
above OR below the object).
Like I said, far be it for me to actually invite vandalism (not that anybody
could without cracking AWLD's ppw), but I figured I'd better bring to AWI's
attention (and alert others in case they see some suspicious building taking
place in that area) so that AWI can take permanent measures to better secure
the area. :-)
Cheers for now :-)

AWGZ has always been like this. >_< The AWHS needs to pick up their socks
and do something about it. Clean all the ads and crap out that wasn't
originally there and then lay a blanket of ground cover down underground.

If someone managed to get AWLD's ppw, I suspect we'll have much much bigger
things to worry about than some petty vandalism at the GZ lol.
The signs you saw underground were prolly put in during a window of time
when the 112m restriction was lifted.
But this isn't really a problem though while that restriction is in place.

Do you have any idea how Active Worlds works? >_< I really don't think some
uncovered land is going to be a disaster. It's been that way for almost 9
years and there have been no problems. Besides, if anyone found the AWLD
ppw, having that land covered wouldn't prevent the vandalism.

Either AWHS or AWLD (the latter who has world rights).
In any event....It really looks UGLY behind those signs.
BTW....What's with blocking off the road headed South from GZ WITH A
RIVER???? Would someone care to explain the logic behind THAT ONE to me?
Putting a river at GZ just looks BAD. A swimming pool (like the size of the
one at my house) would look better IMO.
Cheers for now :-)

I got the idea Ferrucio (though I think your initial question was a little
extreme). :-) But I stand by my concerns nonetheless.
Cheers for now everyone :-)

Just about everyone (excluding the AW Amish, come on, there's AWGZ world to
preserve it) agrees that the AWGZ is very ugly and desperately needs a
revamp. I like the way they do it in AWTeen, periodically changing GZ
styles to keep things interesting.

No kidding...I absolutely hate our world's GZ. It's a real hole I'm sorry
:P
I see no logical reason (especially no business reason) why it should remain
for the sake of "history"...the dreaded h word, my my I hate it :P

These signs have a move command in it right???? They do the signs on the space
between the roads and the walks.....it's a little bit space but they do the
signs there with a move command to the area that you see the signs in it. Please
remember to get the TYPONESE translator in order to understand this message:))))

No, the signs in question are not moved in. However there are a fair share
of signs that are if your vis is high enough. GET, PKs, or AWHS really outa
do something about it (as well as something to prevent it).
