AW in Tomb Rider style (+ better ideas) (Wishlist)
AW in Tomb Rider style (+ better ideas) // WishlistcybertwinsJan 13, 1999, 11:58pm
When I was enjoying a good chocolate cake in AWGate, a newbie came over and
asked me where her avatar was! She looked around and couldn't find it. So why not make your avatar in front of your viewpoint? For users that are just used to the game variant.. Wait, I just got a better idea! Being able to move the "bird" in 3rd/bird view by the mouse - up and down, left and right, would be really great for taking pictures too! And maybe when you're flying around your back, why not make it possible to fly in front of your avatar and take even close up pictures? From benieth, above, in front, back, all angles! That would be really great! Maybe the users could come uo with some tricks, like standing behind a mirror without the real mirror, just the frame and "flying" the bird in front of your avatar so it seems like it's in the mirror! Oh, that would be GREAT! May be easy to loose controll, so a reset button would be nice too.. -Joakim, one of the CyberTwins *proud of my self for coming up with such an advanced idea.. not normal for me* cybertwinsJan 14, 1999, 12:00am
Oh, I just saw the input by cubic about Avatar viewer wich was in many ways
the same idea as mine, but he was first, so.. Btw.. What are the odds?? Hehe (c: -Joakim, CyberTwins Jan 14, 1999, 12:04pm

Isn't that possible already?
You can use home/end to change viewpoints or you can use the buttons on the toolbar. >Wait, I just got a better idea! Yes, but she said it was hard to see that it was her.. She wanted the bird
eye right behind her back... Jan 15, 1999, 5:44am
You can play with the home/end buttons a little.
Can't you find the right position? Shouldn't be too hard I guess.... [View Quote] fredrik and joakim staiJan 15, 1999, 1:41pm
Maybe you didn't notice, but I said that *she* couldn't find her that easy..
I think home/end is enough for me, but I just quoted her.. -Joakim, CyberTwins [View Quote] > You can play with the home/end buttons a little. > Can't you find the right position? > Shouldn't be too hard I guess.... > [View Quote] |
