You Go Jeffrey. I absolutely undeniably completely and thouroughly dispise
AOL.
Need to re-install your software again lately AOL users?
[View Quote] P.S.: I am making a page with a list of reasons why I don't like AOL and
why no one else should believe the hype in commercials, I will post it when
finished.

(Now watch this thread get flooded with those AOL freaks)

P.S.: I understand that some of you have no choice but to use AOL if so I
feel sorry for you. When my page is up give it to your parents.

[View Quote] > Simple: I'd make NAC property deletable like then-COF bullshitted its
users into believing before buying citizenships. Of course I'd get rid of
charging for citizenship as well, relying instead on the REAL moneymakers:
galaxy/universe servers. If AW is ever going to get popular, it's going to
have to become more free. One word (acronym): ICQ. Just think how popular AW
would have been if it didn't start charging. The user count prior to
charging was around 200,000 for the 2 or so years AW had existed. In double
the time, AW has only grown to 304,563 (around 104,563 "new" users).
However, note that a lot of these "new" users are duplicate accounts, free
accounts (like that come with worlds), event-specific accounts (like when
The 13th Floor premiered with all those Pepsi### "citizens"), etc, etc, etc.
Anyway, if AW could have grown legitimentally without bloated user counts
and misleading/false advertising in their press releases, perhaps larger
companies like Yahoo!, AOL, or even

look at the 3D gaming industry is all that's needed here. 3D is overtaking
the computer gaming industry and compared to most current 3D games, AW looks
like shit. I could go on and on about AW's lack of 3D engine and user
interface development, but you can read all about it at
http://tnlc.com/eep/aw/ if you're that bored.
