contact list groups (Wishlist)
contact list groups // Wishlist

i am not sure if this is stated already becuase i havent checked this ng in
a while and havent had the time to read it all.. but..
i think there should be 'groups' in the contact lists. just like AOL Instant
Messesnger (AIM) buddy list is, or other instant messenger buddy lists. this
will be so great if you, for example, are mayor of a town and would like to
telegram all the people in you town, all you would have to do is put all of
your town contacts in one group with the name of your town and you do not
need to search for all of them within your 100s of contacts all together,
you can expand and collapse the groups like AIM buddy list.
this will make keeping tract of people MUCH easier :-)

I'd love to see NOTES added to each citizen. Especially since names change
for some people as often as they change clothes. I'd like to know who
someone is without having to keep a list of cit numbers and without having
to send them a gram "Who were you?"... the responses to that are often
funny, but you know. :P

i just delete people off my list when they change name snow.

Yes, actually this idea has been suggested many times. Never hurts to suggest it again though, since it's still not implemented yet.
One variation on this that I don't know of having been suggested yet, which would not have been possible until somewhat recently, would be to allow showing or hiding of people on your contact list with certain attributes set. For example, to hide all people on your contact list that you are currently hiding your on-line status from, or only show the people on your contact list that you're allowing file transfers from, or maybe only show the people on your contact list that are currently on line and displaying what world they are in.

Anything older than 3 weeks is old. It causes a whole list of RE:'s to show up on
people's newsreaders that limited the amount of headers and it makes others have to
scrollllll way down on the list to find where this new post is. ;) There's no point
if it's a dead wish. They're wishes anyways, they don't need a confrimation that you
agree or a reply anyways. :P
But everyone replies sooo...

If you look again at my reply, I was not just agreeing. I was also adding something which applies currently. As for it being a "dead wish" it's obviously not dead if it's still relevant and not yet realized.
