Stop mentioning refraction - it has nothing to do with this, except that its
related to the optical density. Refraction can only occur as the light passes between two mediums and the angle is dictated by the difference in the index of refaction of the two mediums, not of one of them. By your argument, light would effortlessly pass through steam with no ill-effects (?) or are you forgetting something? [View Quote] |
