Then by your assumption, I'm equally right. Including that your "proof" only states
that lense flares occur. Also noting that everyone, even BinaryBud, agrees that
single lense systems also cause the flares. The flare is a different type then we
see with photographs, but it is a flare nonetheless

Sorry, I know I am correct because it's the real answer. No need to insult me
because I am. The eye creates a lens flare via the refraction (yes refraction) due
to the angle of entry and the length of focusing that the muscles of your eye have
done with the lens. This will "distort" the image on the retina and cause a flare of
sorts.
