I know how the eye works and that it does not cause a lens flare. If you don't believe me I really don't care because I know I am correct. Sorry, I know I am correct because it's the real answer. No need to insult me because I am. The eye creates a lens flare via the refraction (yes refraction) due to the angle of entry and the length of focusing that the muscles of your eye have done with the lens.
