Low Citizen Numbers, would they sell? (General Discussion)
Low Citizen Numbers, would they sell? // General Discussion
Jun 30, 2001, 3:43am
Did you ever get curious about who owned the really low citizen numbers? I
did and I looked it up. It seems that they are mostly a bunch of dud
accounts. They are renamed after Star Wars and James Bond characters. Do
you think AWCI would ever consider selling these citizenships for a price
higher than normal? ;-)

Those people are still Citizens, when you relinquish a name someone can
immediately use it, the only thing that always remains constant is your
Citizen number. If there is a name attached to them that means they are
still renewing those account numbers.

Not quite, Chuck. When you stop renewing an account, your name stays in the AWCI
database until AWCI gets around to cleaning it out. So, theoretically, you could
abandon your account today, and it'll still say "Chucks Party" on it several years
from now. Not the most efficient of systems, but hey...
