nearly every time i use AW now my comp will lock up and i actually have to
pull power plug at back of computer very annoying , am using 3.2 version, on
a 500 pentium 3 with 128mb ram and on;y 1/2 used 12GB drive!
can anyone help!

Are you using Software, OpenGL, or D3D? In either of the 3 just check to
make sure you have the latest video driver installed and/or DirectX version.

thanks bowen, not sure what software i am using simply d/l 'ed AW.
am nearly certain that i have latest vid driver and direct x but will check.

Oh yeah, by default AW 3.2 is in software mode. That might be causing your
problem since software mode uses a lot of resources. Try switching to D3D
mode. Hope that helps :)

thanks sounds good , but how do i switch to D3D?

Go to Options, Settings, Video, hit Direct 3D, hit Ok, it'll ask to restart,
hit yes, you'll restart in D3D mode in the place you left :)
