Oooook, is it just me or is anyone else having *odd* problems with their
contacts list, maybe just me but just recently I've noticed names
disappearing and I have to re add them, which someone else I know had to re
add me too, and later, I tried to add another contact and it was greyed out,
of course, I do not have 500 contacts already, and I removed a few, still
didnt work, what's up with that? :O. maybe it's all in my mind O_O

on mine the world they're in isnt updating sometimes

On mine my contact list dissapears when I log back into my own users after
reconnection....

It downloads your contact list from the server on login.

sometimes users will change their names.. if you see someone is missing,
look to see if there is a different name on your list somewhere.. it's
possible that your friend has changed their name. .. if you make note of
their cit number, you can right click the names on the contact list and
see the citnumber
