Smoking gun means direct evidence. Even in his UN speech he emphasized over and over
that there "...are no smoking guns..." Convicting, alluding evidence is great proof. The same type of proof that could've kept Hitler from power; hey, we learned from your mistake and are trying to rectify a situation we left to hell the first 2 times. We're going to do it whether the frog eaters and clock makers want us too or not. And in the end, when we remove a Hitler-esque dictator who tortures his own people, it won't matter if there wasn't a smoking gun to what types of weapons he had. Just the fact that we did what we had to do to protect lives and fix something we messed up. I honestly don't care if you don't like the US anymore; no matter what I say or do cannot change that. I just want you to acknolwedge that Saddam is a madman. When you do that, realize why we're doing what we're doing without evidence; realize that we're doing what we must to help. --Bowen-- |
