You must have lots more drawers that aren't in the photo, or you have very little stuff (i doubt this).:D |

Nearly posted on this last year. Now much messier. Decided to have some fun with new technology. Took the picture with new phone, emailed with phone to computer and then attached it here. Hidden away is wacom tablet. I opened the Wardrobe door just a fraction...no Lion or Witch, but another re-occurring theme...

And here's my room... part of it, anyway. You don't want to see the rest as it's filled with useless stuff that's not even mine.
I cleaned up a bit before taking the picture. |

Nice Jayr - is that a coffee cup I spy - this thread constantly amazes me the way so many people hide their coffee cups! Keyboards, trueSpace, Coffee Cups, they just seem to go tegether somehow!
BTW I see you are a Tolkien/Jackson fan too :D |

Yeah coffee, lots of it, keeps me awake on those nights when you just can't get that texture right!
You might spot the Alien films, Blade Runner and a few Studio Ghibli DVDs too! |

Given the success of Splinter's 'What's in a name' thread I thought I'd bump the also popular 'show us your room' thread. With the advent of tS 7.5 there has been an influx on new members who might of missed this....
Some suggestions for similar themed threads:
Show us your house
Show us the view from your house
Show us your cat.....
I'm sure there are others! |

............and here's mine
we converted a 400 year old ex blacksmith's workshop here in the depths of Cornwall, UK, to live in and space is limited - hence the 2 laptops.

This thread looks really cool! Here's my workspace.... That white and grey stuff on the desk is cat hair (she was sleeping under the desk while I was taking the picture)....
The second computer on the floor is our old computer, which my parents want so desperately to get out of the office....
Sometimes I bring my laptop in here to do other stuff (the laptop is mine, but the desktop is used by everyone).

That baby is my niece but she is also my god daughter. She's a little bigger now but I love that pic of her. I'll have to get a new wallpaper of her as she gets bigger. |

Another great thread Splinters! Unless of course your working as an undercover agent for the IRS/Inland Revenue in which case all my pics are fakes. :D
Well, having had a good snoop at all the other pics on this thread it would seem that my working environment is the illigitimate lovechild of eveybody elses and hence:
Keyboard - check.
3d World Mags - check.
Old computer (with huge CRT monitor) that cost a fortune in its day and can't bear to throw away - check.
Movie car collection - check.
Star Wars figures - check.
New computer for faster renders - check.
Spanky new flat panel - check.
Oh, by the way, in case you think I live in the Shires, this is in fact my loft, a DIY project that has taken 4 years (since applying for planning permission) to complete. Hope you like it. |

You like Star Wars then....
I see a nice Boba Fett figure by applause there...circa 1995?? A favourite character of mine!!
I have a great collection of Star Wars books up in the loft: real expensive tomes on ILM, Art of, Star Wars Myth to Magic; that sort of thing.
I just need someone with a large car boot to buy my Star Wars fact file collection. It's complete at some 7 full binders...might be worth something one day...:D
It is threads like this that help us get to know each other a bit better and there is no bitching, bragging or other negative comments. I like it that way.
Very cool room by the way and you are not that far from me here in Yorkshire! |
