TS 7.5 will let us use FX files/shadders on the models right? like the ones we can create on RenderMonkey?
Also, it will use Pixel and Vertex Shader 3.0 to make the scene more realistic right?
If not, these are on my wishlist... :)

Also, camera/enviroment effect from DX, DOF on cameras in realtime in the player, and those DX nice attributes can be another pretty cool attribute

There are no plans to update the real-time renderer for tS7.5 that I know of. You can already use and access DX9 shaders - you need to code them in HLSL format, or use the DX9 shader bricks in the LE to combine together to make a shader (plus write your own bricks and functions in script too if you wanted to).

You will need to "translate" the shader from RenderMonkey or similar into one of the above formats, but that will get you the "same" functionality as in those shaders, and is possible right now in tS7.11. There are no plans to directly load shaders from other code, that I know of.

HTH!

I'm with you Roberto :)

a pity that we can't load fx files directly.

No cube mapping, no user custom fx scripts (3ds Max has some simle but nice scene effects like, Blur, edge detect, sepia etc.)

Well, can just hope that these additions come in a far future :D

:( im not that kind of programmer, but im programmer and already saw a little how directx works internally, and FX files are native as DDS files, dont understand why they are so complicated to integrate.. but, thats not my business :)
Just can be good to have that; i think fx + dof + effect (all native in DirectX) can be the key to make games and other things in player...

Sadly the NEAR future is Windows Vista, DX10, Shader 4.0

Parva,
You can also save/load .FX files directly in the interface of max....not to steal the subject here.

Yep you can, i've heard; but the problem with ts is more complicated as i understand now; as i understod its something like they've implemented their own hlsl, some modifications and restrinctions... and its not so easy to implement.. im still learning.. but anyway, its just learn!!! the problem is that there're not good tutorials or specific of ts7...
