Studica.com is giving away $500 to the winner of their TS animation contest.
It's not much, but hay, it looks like it's an easy win.

Hmm, well, don't forget the current Caligari contest where the runner up gets a $500 graphics card - the winner gets a $1,500 graphics card!
So if you want more substantial prizes, get entering! ;)

Thanks!

You guys must be too rich; it would cover a few Chrimbo prezzies at the very least...;) |

I'd still rather have a $1,500 video card. Would beat the pants off of what I actually have - but I can't enter the Caligari contest of course *sigh*. Oh well! At least someone will have a real state of the art, world beating graphics card out of our contest... so be sure to enter, and maybe it will be you!

Presumably you can only enter if you are a student or teacher though? |

And don't you have to be a student to enter the studica.com contest too?
That eliminates all you old fogies... ;), I mean "senior" members...

We have a very broad mix of users, from "old fogies" (ha ha, thanks for that, since I most likely would count as one! ;) ), down to those still in school let alone college. And everything in between! So a lot of people won't qualify. Those that do should enter though!
And enter the Caligari contest too (where even old fogies are welcomed hehe).
Thanks!

Well I only barely qualify as a student, seeing how I took 4 years off from college before going back to finish my undergraduate degree and start my graduate studies. I'm the old guy on campus now...three kids and more student loans... ;)

I'm sure many would qualify though. I'm about to turn 16, so I definitely will fit the right description to enter.
Furthermore, the entries have to be animations that go under the theme: "Victory Is Mine!"
Since I am in the middle of creating an animated sword fight, I think that I am within the boundaries, am I not? |
