Disappearing custom toolbars is another matter, which we plan to solve for TS7.5 too.
It's not so much custom toolbars disappearing [which would be bad enough], it's more like default/shipped-with-tS toolbars disappearing when you try moving them around, docking them somewhere else, etc. They behave themselves up until you save your layout, switch to another, then switch back to the 1 you saved, at which point you may find 1 or more toolbars missing [most commonly the 1 with the Player undo on it, from my experience].
At the moment, it seems to mostly occur when creating a custom layout that uses the Full layout as its starting point, as I've tried recreating my custom 1 using the Dual Screen layout as the starting point, & so far <crosses fingers> it's behaving itself. |

Roman, any chance we can get a look at the new hair/fur features of TrueSpace 7.5 soon, as well as some info on its implementation. This is an area I'm very interested in. I'd like to know does this feature rely on the user rendering in VRay as has been stated by others elsewhere? And how powerful is this feature, what can you do with it, what's possible with it, can the hair/fur flow with the characters movements, be effected by wind, etc.? |

When I do a project, the default layout doesn't cut it for me so customizing really comes in handy and is a great feature to have in tS.
I love LE open, go inside an object in LE and select 3d for aspect and you have just that one object to edit and play around with without no other objects to interfere with editing. Changes to object can immediatly be seen in regular 3d view. Uncluttering to edit one object but yet you can still see how its looks in the scene overall. Try it, extremely powerful for complex scene being able to shift around context or aspect of view.
Edit: this is for new 3D stuff only though to clarify. |
