Besides that it is a thing which chapter you want to learn. A game is a multimedial thing. Graphics, Code, Music, Sound FX, Leveldesign, etc. . It also depends of the kind of game you want to create (2D versus 3D for example) and which tools and language you use. I would recommend to search for special forums for this chapters. Makes no sense to ask a codequestion at an graphics board. And it makes no sense to ask a gamemaking software question like for 3D Gamestudio at an C++ board ...
