Yeah HUGE kudos to Caligari for including video tutorials with the manual.
Where was I when this decision was made!!!, seriously where did you read that...as I am far too lazy to do the paper trail at this age. Now we have to worry about recycling the glass in our monitors from all the PDF's and "video's"! |

Not sure if you already have a tS7.0 manual, if not we can certainly get you one of those. Right enough though, the manual won't be reprinted for 7.5. A lot of people have had very satisfactory results with printing from PDF though, so all is not lost if you do want hardcopy.
HTH!
Tom
I would think, perhaps the best direction is to keep printing them...but halt production of TS6.6 (and 5.2?) manuals.
Lower the cost and keep the majority of the customers happy.;)
Whatever, it all comes down to you guys anyway.
I'll watch to see where this goes, but boy, will I miss those hard copies... |

One of my favourite things when I get a new bit of software is to curl up in bed that night with a the weighty manual and flick through to find a dozen or so things to try out. Its really hard to flick through a pdf manual in the same way. I find reading a lot of text on the computer screen a bit of a trial really. Still I'm sure I'll manage somehow - just keen to get my hands on ts7.5! |

I have no problem with the pdf...very useful!:)Easy to search and jump to specific sections! I think everyone should take a stress pill and watch spongebob for an hour or two. Or do what I do...pour a half-pint of vodka into 4 shots of espresso and stare at the wall for half a day. It does help:) |

Hello everybody,
maybe this would be an idea to make all happy. There are a lot of Print On Demand publishers around the globe.
Give the PDF to them and give us the adress of the publisher to order the printed version there.
Caligari would get money as author and we would get the printed guid at a resonable price. |

Hi hoss,
I will be receiving my upgrade soon too. I rarely use the big printed
book but do like the glossy map. http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/images/smilies/smile.gif
:)
