These look quite studly Roman, the animation is making me salivate...

Glad to see you went BVH at least on this demo, there is a ton of ways to make BVH and lots of it out there.

Not sure what to make of the scenery by Marcel. It's very eye appealing, but don't know the mechanics behind it.

Looks like the gang at Caligari are kicking butt...

I give a qualified A+ on the latest efforts. :)

I'll second that A+! It looks like Caligari are going to tremendous lengths to release a piece of software that incorporates a great deal of what we've been asking for, and then some! I can't wait to get my hands on this. I mean you look at Maya or Max and you think, those are industry standard tools requiring a great deal of technical skill. Then you look at TS7.5, and in my own words, you think, Cool!

I guess what I'm trying to say is that 7.5 looks cool, has some awesome features in the works, and just looks like a lot of fun! You probably wouldn't ever call working with Maya fun. Or if you do, you're alot less graphics dependant than I am!

I'm actually curious about the scripting in ts7.5 and the shader scripting. What interest me the most is the plane acting like a tv from what the camera sees. It seemed possible with 7.1 but I was only able to think about it in one way and that would have taken a long time and most likely would have ran slowly are used up too much ram. Nice to see that the 7.5 blogs are pretty consistent and looking forward to seeing how the material editor and uv mapping tools work at some point.

Is it possible to control the buffers (stencil and such)? hopefully you guys are still considering the Collada format. Is the documentation for the script more complete kinda lost interest because lack of though I still try here and there with stuff that's not really documented.

Aha!

The projector camera was way cool with the mirror. Looks like a practical solution to dimensioning is just right at hand! Scientists/Engineers will love that!

Hobbyists and CG pros too. :)

Marcel's Virtual Tour was way cool. My favorite was the mirror scene where the collision/wind effects knocked everything off and of course was superbly and perfectly reflected in the mirror!

I was remembering that clip cut you made in the animation sequence and was glad to see it could be saved as a sequence. This will be a huge time saver and users will be add many tricky effects by cutting and pasting longer clips of longer video sequences. Just like a film editor! (snip snip)

I must chance the grade on this addition though and give tS7.X an...

A++

Yea.. are preaty good stuffs..

I have 3 points ( as allways :D )

1) Its not a mirror.. its like a Video Wall.. not a mirror.. if you see the refletion are fliped.. and allways show what the camera looks..

2) The texture light are ok! but i dont like the image have a falloff thats must be optional.. i think up must can select a squared to simulate for example a projector..

and 3) If that preaty effects only works if you render (Realtime) over the player.. or it works too if you Render an animation...

Thats is something what i know.. cant be answered.. :rolleyes:j

Thanks Alien...
