Hi
Finaly have the time to dig into TS7 some. I have been trying to get it working for nurbs, but I can not get multi screen types to work. With nurbs i cant work in player mode it wants to convert to mesh and i cant get my front side what ever to switch to model mode. Is this a problem with my install a bug or what?

Velen let me know if im right..
You have a Nurbs on the model side.. and you try to change on the player side.. but you cant??
If that is correct.. the Nurbs from the Model are not compatible to the Nurbs from the player and viseverse..
BTW.. if not that what you try to do.. Maybe other users "Native Speekers" can help you :) |

No Nurbs in player side yet...just in model side.

Hi thanks for the reply.
I gathered no nurbs in player side sence it wants to convert.
The problem is I can not get a 2D model window open all 2d for front side top or what not is locked in player mode. If there isnt a 2d modeling mode then I can deleat TS 7 as worthless and go back to 6.6 sence i use a lot of nurbs and with out the 2d windos you can not easaly control the nurb handels.

I never fail to be amazed how many people threaten to delete tS7 and go back to tS6.6 when they are disappointed with the program. Your choice of course, but model side is tS6.6 so why delete tS7 to use tS 6.6 functionality? |

As i said I can not get a side view (2D) to work for what ever reasion. now with out the 2d model window abiuty working in nurbs (my primary) is not reasionable. so i would be forced to return to 6.6 as 7 would not be useable for precise nurbs control in the 3d window.
It is not a mater of disapointment, it is a mater of resonable functionaluty for nurbs with the way my install is working. Also sofar only half of the problem has been addressed. 1st half nurbs do not work in player mode, ok no problem. So the problem for me then lais in the fact that i can not switch from player to model mode in 2d side view. If there is a way to switch the 2d windows to model view then yes TS7 has the same functionaluty as TS6.6, 6, and 5 but sence mine will not switch via the play and model tabs in the respective port windo in clasic 4 view set up it seems at present TS7 does not have the same functionaluty.

Problem solved.
I uninstalled TS 7 and reinstalled as the last try. Sence reinstalling now New persective View button works, I can also switch between model and player mode in side top front views in the 4view configuration.
