real hair actually does, it follows a pattern...like the swirly on the crown, everyones is different..if (big if)you ask me I think that...
1) the hair is a step in the right direction and will improve hopefully.
2) it looks very un-natural. |

Step by step.. First its cool get hair or grass in ts.. thats is preaty Cool! on next releases im sure more features be implanted on the new hair system..
We just see demos, or screen shots. Maybe with more work im sure you can get preaty hair....
Hair is not put and render..at all.. i remember a making of "final Fantasy" the movie, one of the worst and dificults challenges was create realistic hair on aki and good hair cuts for the others characters.. |

Yeah, but no tS user would pay $499 just for a plug in - they expect everything to be free. Especially as at that price it's node locked too - upgraded your PC, sir? That'll be another $499.... |

aha OK, so I don't wonder :D
btw. Cinema's hair module based upon SaaH and even if it hasn't got updates since some time it's still worth the money.
The tS hair is far away to get those quality. |

Best to think of tS hair as an unexplored 'extra' rather than comparing to production quality plug-ins. Still, I am hopeful and expect users will come up with ingenious way of using (developing?) it...:D |

Im agree, the hair tool looks preaty, i think before the 7.5 release we gonna have many many new renders or old update renders with hair! ehhehe..
Roman's head gonna be one of these :D
dont know if its posible add keyframes to the hair to fake dynamism.. |

Just trying to be honest and fair Prodigy, no point pretending that you can do everything with the hair features but I do feel that it is, as yet, untapped potential...just look at the difference in my experiments even after only a few days. |
