Hello everyone,
i think tS7.5 would be one of the greatest upgrades in the caligari history i think!
They have so many new and intuitive features i've never seen in a "0.5" upgrade.

Its sure is an impressive upgrade however I'm glad its a .5 because as someone who did the v7 pre-release purchase I am eligible for a free upgrade. (If this was version 8 I'd have to pay out more!) |

I agree...there is a LOT of bang for the buck in this release, especially for those getting it free. :) 7.5 is cleaned up a lot from 7.1 and has quite a few new tools in the workspace. I also think this is the perfect release for those with older versions like 6.6 to upgrade. With the UI and libraries nicely cleaned up in 7.5, and the 6.6 layout to work in, the transition should be much smoother and will ease people into the new architecture. This is definitely one of those milestone steps that all tS users should take IMO. In the future when the new architecture has broken off on its own, it will be like learning a completely new program, so this is probably a good time to ease yourself into the new architecture if your coming from a pre-tS7 version. |

I've just placed my order for tS 7.5!! I can't wait to hold the box in my hands. :)
I went over most of the pre-release information, the videos and the forum threads and I'm totally convinced that this is the best tS release yet.
Whoohoo!! |

Shame the title implies 'would be a great upgrade if...'
I know Oliver meant tS7.5 will be a great upgrade...and he is right, it is.. |

In animation maybe but whats on the modeler site ?
I ask since years to bring the polytools features to Truespace and nothing happends.
The 7.5 is free for me so i don´t be to annoyed when it isn´t what i want.
And i ordered the Upgrade to VRay 1.0 to 1.5 and waiting for more nice rendering features.
On what i can count ?
This is why i say hmmm we will see. |

You are right vizu, every one should make his own experiences with TS7.5 .
So we will see if TS come up with our expectations. |

Don't know if it helps anyone, but "modeler" has been pretty much a foreign place to me for quite a long while through beta testing. I go to it for testing purposes but for fun I'm all about workspace. I too honestly think this is a huge upgrade. I use tS to relax and doodle, a creative outlet away from stress. Version 7.5 workspace is the best of any tS release yet for my taste, and I've been a user since tS2.
Looking forward to seeing even greater things from all y'all! I think you'll love it, and we'll let your renderings do the talking right?! |
