I was just wondering if it's possible to change my user name here on the Caligari forums. "2much4U" is cool and all, but it's more of a message than an identity.
I was thinking that, if it's allowed, I could change it to "de@dl0ck." |

I recall a similar question some time ago, when the forums changed over to the new forum application. I believe the answer was you have to create a new account with Caligari. Best bet though is to contact customer service.
HTH!

Norm is the forum admin. Give him a PM and he'll get you straightened out.
It's probably best for forum continuity not to do it too many times though, so that people don't get confused. You may want to make sure that is what you REALY want to change it to.
I used my proTeam username at first as was suggested, but that looked pretty lame. Since this is a professional forum, I decided it was simplest to just go with my name. If you're working for a company in the industry, there may be reasons to want an anonymous type userID though. So it all depends on your needs.

Anyone ever notice the message board forces a space in words that are too long??
look at the handles in the two links above. |

Hey, while we're at it, I'd like mine changed to "Chris the Fuzzy".
Methusela is getting a little old. (Pun definitely intended. :D) |

I've changed my mind about this and I'm going to keep 2much4U as my user name.
There, I've done it! This thread has officially been deemed pointless!:D |

Good for you 2much4U!
I've always like the user name "Yo Mamma" That way if someone says, "who wrote that about me?" the reply would be...
:D

I'm still interested in this! If anyone knows how to do it, that'd be great. Thanks! |

I also prefer to go by my name on the old forums but something happened in the transition and I had to pick a new one. Old one existed but I could never get logged in... rejected my password. Interesting that it claimed the old name existed since it's not on the member list to this day either. |
