Well, here was my more detailed version that I retracted to prevent undue influence on others... kinda comical in retrospect
Set 1
Image 1: real? think I see a rim on the backdrop cloth
Image 2: CG... pretty heavy DOF applied
Image 3: CG... difficult to make molded characters for cloaks over faces (molds wouldn't release). Also shares a model with image 2 above
Image 4: CG. A nice sub-surface scattering. Think I recognize it from a book on physically based rendering (extended pbrt renderer. mesh scanned in as part of Stanford CGI course material?)
Image 5: CG. A 50/50 guess really... Shadows are very diffuse and I think I see noise in the background which is characteristic of stochastic rendering.
Set 2:
Image 1: CG... I know I've seen that image before. Where? Can't remember.
Image 2: Real... just a guess... maybe wrong here. No reason for choice.
Image 3: Real... maybe a guess but imperfections seem present. If it's CG then subsurface scattering is great
Image 4: CG... A well known Budda object often used in rendering experiements.
Set 3:
Image 1: Real. A statue of Brittany Spears giving birth if I recall? (don't laugh! that's what I remember!)
Image 2: CG. I think I see edges of polygons.
Image 3: CG. Just my guess again.
