I have heard nothing of a further delay or to wait a day or so for tS 7.5...
Anyone else not heard/not recieved anything????
OR Has no one received an e-mail because it has not yet been sent??? |

That would be nice, I just don't know...I think it is now "officially" released...I guess people could talk about it..Ache,...(BETA testers). I just feel like the forum has turned into a ghost town...and I don't know if I should just lay down or stick around...
@team Caligari: I understand you are busy, and working late(as usual), but if you could drop us a small note it would be appreciated. |

I looked at my ebuy page, and see Vray1.5, but when I hit download, it will not accept my userid and password, so I think they just did not unolck it yet. I'm hoping for an e-mail soon. I was off today, but fortunatly was too busy with other things to worry about it. I'm a member of Proteam, so if you are not and have not gotten an e-m,ail yet, dont' fret. :D we are all in the same boat. |

I wish they could just send me mine now, as I'll be up most of the night anyway being sort of busy with other stuff. I could have it finished at a time when server traffic couldn't possibly be too high... |

Heh looks like another Friday release... wonder if there's gonna be anyone at the office to troubleshoot over the weekend. LOL my advice to them would be to get it released, go home and don't even check their e-mail until Monday morning. :p
If these guys don't get a break soon their gonna burn out before we get to 8.0 and the really cool stuff. ;)
Can anyone say uhhm... fluid dynamics, cloth sim, and a full blown real-time particle system :D
I'm curious what new features you guys would think would be cool to have in 8.0?

I checked my Caligari shopping cart this morning and found the link to download 7.5 and the manual, I've successfully downloaded them and installed...but it won't let me open 7.5 without the registration key!!!! It says the key is on the first page of the manual, but it's not in the PDF manual, I've looked.
Do you know what it's like having it installed on your computer, and you can't open it!!:( :( :( :( :( |

The key is typically on a sticker inside a 'physical' manual..perhaps that explains the confusion. Better contact customer support for your serial number...:confused: |

Wow pretty harsh, Forcemaster.
I know it was a bit of a shock for me when the beta expired after the release date was pushed back. I fired up 7.5 to work on some stuff and got a dialog saying the beta expired. Took a couple of minutes for the reality of it to sink in.... all my recent work was in 7.5 and the thought of having to go back to 7.1 made me stare at the screen in denial for a good several minutes...
Fortunately Roman and Norm came to our rescue later that day but it was a scary few moments contemplating a week of life without 7.5... LOL ;)

Thx all for the support! I just can't figure why I haven't received an email if I was able to download. :confused:
I've checked my profile and Caligari does have my proper email address.
I guess it will be sorted out eventually, but impatience can be HE*L! |

It would be a nice customer relationship gesture to make sure all the people who made the effort to attend the party could be sent their emails in the earlier batches.
