Hey out there guys.
I have been a trueSpace user for a number of years , but have never gotten to do much with it both for lack of time and frustration with the unstableness of the various past versions. Anyway I'm hopping to change this with tS7.5, which finally looks to be the build of tS I've always wished for (at least 90% of the way anyways). Unfortunately I've yet to receive my download email, which worries me as I was pre-order customer of tS7, and yet many of you out there have already received yours in the last 4 days, even those of you who had to wait a while.
Oh well just thought I'd vent. Haven't really posted much here before, because truthfully I've never had much of a reason too, though I hope that will change soon.
Even if I get the email in the next 10 seconds though I won't be able to dl, or play with it till I get home from work tonight.
Thanks for reading my rant Just curious though how many of you are still waiting for the email as well?

Still waiting here, I have my vray link but still no TS7.5 link. My broadband has just been repaired sooo now is the best time for me to download it ... <hint> :cool:

I think it's going by group and then alphabetically by username.... Sorry man! :(
You'll find 7.5 a much more productive environment. It was basically the same way for me, until 7.1 I really wasn't able to get much done because the mesh would tear away when I zoomed in. That problem is completely gone with the new architecture. The big change with 7.5 is that the most of the needed poly modeling tools have now been moved to the new architecture. Between that and V-Ray it's now very much possible to do professional level work in TS.

I still haven't received my e-mail yet, either. I pre-ordered v7 in December 2005, so I guess they just haven't gotten to us, yet. I'm not going to complain, though, as the upgrade was free for me. As long as I can get it by Monday, I'll be happy!

This may help someone out there but the TS7.5 file will show in a directory dated the day you Ordered it. Mine was dated July 2006. |

I don't quite understand what you mean. Where is the folder to which you are referring? In the Caligari repeat downloads area?
EDIT:
OK I think I see what you mean. I went to my repeat download page, and I preordered ts7 January 16 2006. So are you saying that the 7.5 download
will appear in that directory? |

Thanks. I do not see it yet though I do find it interesting that, I pre-ordered 7.0 way back when (January 16 2006) yet folks who ordered considerably later seem to already have their download available. In all honesty that really should not matter because I cannot do anything with it right now anyway; but just knowing that it is available for me to download would be a good thing.
By the same token, however, I realize that the Caligari folks are working their buns off to get this to everyone before the weekend, and my hat's off to them for that. |

ProTeam members have to use the "Download Now" button in the e-mail to order 7.5 before the download will appear in the ebuy download page. Just a heads up for proTeam members.

I understand where you come from. I too purchased 7 back on its pre-release and haven't recieved a download link. I understand the guys at Caligari must be very busy processing the orders. I contacted customer support, but haven't recieved any reply yet. Let's hope they don't forget us! |

I just wanted to let everyone know that I received my email at 2pm EST today, and I got the free upgrade for pre-ordering 7.0. Hope this info helps others!
