maybe 2much4U is on the 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off? )

Naaaaahhhh.......

Believe it or not, I'm only 16, and therefore am still in high school, so I have enough academics to worry about, let alone a job. I get a fair amount of $$$ through turbosquid though, so for me, life is a joyride of sorts.:D

Last day everyone! Any more entries must be finished and submitted by tonight!

That would be 12:00 PM EST. In order for your entries to count, you need to submit a screen shot of your project inside of tS7.5, as well as the info on how long it took you to complete. (Must be under 2 hours)

Although entries must be submitted by tonight, I will give everyone until 4 PM Monday, May 21, 2007 to upload the screenie and type up the info.

After that, we vote!!!!

Her's my entry:

Bob jumping from one block to another. Had crazy problems, mostly software related. As you can see, he's got a twitching problem that I don't know where it came from, but the motion is still there so I'm entering it anyway.

I also had a problem with being able to click the red dot between tracks I wantd to edit - sometimes I could, sometimes I couldn't. They kept disappearing. Then one time the animation window went completely blank! Then, one time the tabs for "Workspace" and "Model" disappeared too.

Many issues that I hope are isolated and maybe Ill do a reinstall to see if they get fixed.

Anyway - 2 Grueling hours filled with several restarts :(

But hopefully the mistakes were mine and not the software. I probably need to update my drivers.

Oh, forgot - done using KFs

Enjoy!

Hey Rich, just so you know, you havn't yet posted your screenshots or how long it took you to make your animations...

These things are required in order to have them included in the voting process. I would hate to leave out such excellent work....please respond...

Rich

Hey Rich,

Nope, this is Lightworks. Keyframed in Workspace, then rendered in Modeler. I can see having a few mistakes, but those twitches shouldn't have been there. I glanced at the curves, but didn't see anything. I'll check again tonight to see if I can find out what the problem is. *Note* I also had lots of weird things happening with TS itself. Not really had any problems yet, which was why I was surprised to be having so much difficulty.

I have a similar situations while working in WS side, you can run the animation in TS and it is perfect, only when you render it out do you have a problem. I am doing my rendering in VRay though...
What type of graphics card are you using?

I am using an Nvidia 6100 with 93.71 drivers (the latest ones certified from Nvidia nov 2006)

I am not sure what it is, I've been dealing with this for a couple of weeks... I think I am the only guy on the beta team with htis issue...

Try this, save the sceen to the library on WS side, exit TS, load scene, now render it out again... does it render out better after doing this?

Thanks for the input.

Rich

I'll try that tonight to see what happens. I think I have a GeForce 5200??? I'll have to look. Can't remember.

Thanks for your help,

Ed

Ok, guess I spoke too soon! Here's my entry...1 hour 47 minutes (including rendering time and asking a stupid question here on the forums that I answered myself by reading the manual) :pI want to apologize Chris, for mistakenly crediting your work to John Danowski in some of our mass-mails. John contacted me and made me aware of our mistake. We have corrected the credit now.

I am still amazed about how fast you created this animation. To make up for our mistake I wonder if you would consider joining our Beta team and helping to design and test next version of our animation tools?

Nope, this didn't fix it.

Still have a twitchy fellow, only now the twitches are in different places.

I also saw a few twitches in a workspace recording that weren't in the keyframes. I think I need to take this off of this thread. But see my less twitchy animation in the recording below.

I also have an interesting problem with the animation window now shows objects with ketframes in it, even though the scene is a new scene.

BTW I updated my drivers and it is a GeForce 5200.

See bugs for more.

Alrighty! Alrighty! alrighty! The entries are in, the judges are waiting, and the popcorn is fresh!!!:D Let's sit back, watch the show, and make our choices!

Even though Richlevy's work didn't include the info or the screenshot, it'll still get those front row seatings it deserves! I apologise for even considering excluding it....I wasn't thinking clearly.:(

On another note, ladies and gentlemen, Let the voting begin!!!!!!

No problem Roman! :D

I'm just honored that you enjoyed my little animation, and that you'd refer to it in emails to anyone!

As to the rest, I sent you a pm, and would be honored if you could use me to improve TS in the future!
