I have the feeling that in Workspace everything reacts too harsh. The whole navigation becomes hard by this. In the modeler the navigation doesn't reacts this much when moving with the mouse. Is there a way to adjust this speed? |

yes, it is possible. you need to dig inside le inside /Widets/Tools or /Widgets/Select to adjust speeds of widgets you want. |

Might be good to have a slider for this on the Desktop settings panel.
Faster navigation is useful for larger scenes, and sometimes slower more precise movement is needed as well when zooming in or making changes on a small object.

Hmm. Diving into the LE wasn't this sucessful. Still haven't found where i can adjust the navigation speed. Any hints behind which item in the LE this is?
I agree. A slider solution to setup navigation speed for different needs would be marvellous :) |

Which Widget do you want to adjust? There is the View widget on the right, the Background Widget used with mouse buttons, Object Navigation Widget, and Point Edit Widget among many others. |

You say the buttons for now. So are you talking about the Background Widget?
If so it does not have Scale. |

I will have to refer you to the Caligari Developers on this one. I do not think these are widgets but rather tool commands. If you were to use the View Widget which performs the same thing and more, I could help show you the nodes responsible to adjust the speed. Basically what I would do is record a script that selects one of the nodes and it would show in the Stack/Panels. Where you could then change the speed values. I have to tell you though there is several nodes that can be adjusted for speed. Also there is controls for Perspective View and Ortho View too. Maybe I should release the Link Editor Navigator toolbar for trueSpace7.5, it does make navigating the Link Editor much easier.
With respect for this if possible maybe the Developers could program a keyboard key when pressed could alter the speed for each of these tools. |
