Hi,
the idea behind is to learn the new Characteranimation Capabilitys in tS7.5
This is NOT A SPEED Challenge!!! - End of this Challenge is exaclty in one Month (June, 21. 07)
And here are the Rules:
The Challenge have to Parts: Beginner and Profi. Target is it to make a walkcycle as good as possible using CrazyBob File in this Attachement (You can also use the Standard CrazyBob file from tS7.5 but this Bob have some more Control Handles for some Parts). You can also refined the Rig like you wan't!
It must be a HANDMADE Keyframe Animation and must be only made using tS7.5!
The Rules for beginners:
Refined the Bob-Walkcycle Scene from the Attachement (CrazyBob_walk_rough.RsScn)
Do not forgot that you have also the new function Curve Editor!
The Rules for the Profis:
Make your own Walkcycle with the attached CrazyBob (CrazyBob_walkcycle_rig.Rsobj) or your own rigged CrazyBob.
You find also the rough Walkcycle from Bob and a picture how you build a walkcycles in the attachement.
Good Luck and hope you have fun :)
Very important!!! - If you have any questions or do you not understand anything it would be very good to hear!

... i'm also on learning the new tS Tools but it makes much more fun in collaboration :)
It would very very cool if anyone have made Rig modifications to post the Obj. File with a short description about it.

This will be fun,
I like animating by hand,
Here is a picture of a suggested layout for animating the walkcycle.

Since there is all this talk about walking in trueSpace, I thought I would bump this thread from one of the tS Master Animators. :)
Here is a slightly tweaked Clip from Oliver's first post for either CraZyBob or Tank Girl. Load either characters and with it selected and the Workspace's Animation Editor open, just double click this Walk.RsClip from the library to load it. |
