There are a LOT of good quality shaders for Lightworks. This (http://www.caligari.com/Products/Packs/ShaderPack/Features.asp) page lists just some. Caligari Vision is "real looking" hardware realtime rendering, but until that is a viable (though not in apocalyptic terms) thing that competes completely with software rendering, I do hope that these shaders still will work with future tS :)
