 is when are the rest (or most) of the tools going to be ported over to the new Workspace? I really kind of expected them to show up in 7.0. The new platform is pretty nice I think, but you can not do much modeling except in Model view. One of th the things that I always liked about TS was being able to do everything from one workspace.

I've done almost all my modelling so far in workspace with no complaints. The sub-d tools are a step up from 6.6 imo.

Are you serious! With the exception of the occasional boolean operation and NURBS the new workspace point edit tools are far superior to the old model tools - especially the loop selectors and soft selection soft paint etc.


So far the abscence of NURBS has not been an issue for me. Take some time to get to know the new PE tools - I'm sure you will soon get to love them!
