I am trying to build a skeleton but when I try to use shape skeleton the joints won't move. I cant find any settings that would keep them locked in place. Attached is a screenshot and a .cob of some of my bones. I would appreciate is someone has an idea why this won't work. I'm stumped.

Is your skeleton selected while using the shape skeleton tool? Also I think it only works on the joints and not the bones.

And is this a brand new skeleton you are building from scratCh?

Yes the skeleton is selected, and the joints highlight when I mouse over them. The shape skeleton tool wont even be able to be activated if a skeleton is not selected. This is a brand new skeleton, but it also does not work on the rigs in the library that come with the program. Is this tool working for everyone else? I downloaded the demo again and it doesnt work in the demo or the licensed version.

oops, i thought you just clicked and move it when it highlights. I found you have to click once to get the widget then click again to move it. Sorry, I have been away from truespace for a little while and just upgraded to 7.5 today. Thanks mr bones. You're very helpful, you helped me with motion files a long time ago too. Well, I'll probably have some more dumb moments as I figure all this new stuff out.
