Being very 'UV challenged', I'm very happy to say that I'm finally 'getting it' a bit with TS. I find if I keep out of the UV Editor, and adjust my textures via the bounding box in Model side (haven't tried in WS yet) I can usually get very close to what I want, and then tweak in the Editor if I have to. I would like to create geometry right from the texture (architectural) My question is: Is there a way to 'lock' the texture ( say it's the facade of a building) so the texture won't distort while I model it's features?

Thanks,

rf

Changings in the geometry can lead to disortions in the UV space. No way to avoid this. So i would suggest first to model it. And then to texture it when the geometry is done.

This would be using a world system for UV coordinates, and sorry, but tS doesn't offer that at this time. It would be usefull another usefull tool is the preserve UV's found in 3Dsmax. Nifty.
