Just thought I would ask this simple question: Do you guys like my new avatar better than my old one? And what about my signature? I've attached the old ones to this post for comparison. |

Your avatar is ok but the font you used and the colors of the font...not good...
The background of the avatar looks better then your original one. It is now hard to see the number "2" clearly and the "U" looks too boxy.
Your signature looks like your a Cooperation. The outline of the whole thing is unnecessary (green), and everything is way too big. The colors used give me the "feeling" it's the Sports Business.
I like your Blicken Logo.
As an experiment reduce the size of your signature 50% to see if everything holds up. (Can clearly be read) This test brings out some of the flaws. Try to read your stuff at a distance too. A good design can be clearly recognized when reduced in size or in gray scale.
I hope you take this as constructive and not destructive criticism as it was meant. |

Lol, I think it looks pretty good! A couple of things I would do: Try to make the text shiny or reflective in some way; they're a bit dull. I thought your old signature was pretty cool, but this new one has a bit too much going on. Idk, just suggestions, it's ultimately your decision. :D

Steinie's right on the signature, at first glance it looks like an advert for a sports shop - and that fills me with horror!
I also think it's far too large. If you reply to a thread a few times that's a lot of screen real estate taken up with, err, well, nothing to do with the topic (except this one - exception to every rule and all that!). I don't like huge signatures anyway as I find them very 'in your face' which, admittedly, is probably the reasoning behind them but I find it slightly irritating to have it thrust upon me. This is just my opinion though, I may be a loan voice, but you did ask! :) |

Sorry about that!:D
My screen resolution is very high, so what might seem large for others seems very small for me. I'll change/redo what I can. |

That's OK, it's just my opinion, not having a go! :)
My res is quite high too and I'm running dual screen so think of the percentage it takes up compared to a regular message, that might help. |

The problem with loud avatars is they could very well
be misunderstood as spams
I just come with my nick for that reason;) |

I came up with a new avatar and signature, which you can easily see. For comparison with the "once new" avatar and signature, I'll attach them in this message. |

I like them both: Your old-new one and your new-new one. I think it's good too that the old one is still there in the signature! :D

I liked the original, I'd pass on the old-new, but I really like the new-new: text is very clear and the colors are rich and deep and the background looks like the insides of lights. Clean look...eyecatching. |

FWIW I like the original although I've always felt the word "much" was a little hard to read against the background.
The new one has some good things going for it - the words are easier to read but the background is too distracting for my taste.
The New-new one gets my vote - the simple background is less distracting, the words are clear - I think it works better than the rest of them.

Thanks for all the C & C!:) If I didn't get it, I'd probably have the old-new logo and the old-new signature.
I'm done with this, and I'm happy with the results, but there's one more thing.
All this time, I've been showing low res versions of the image, which doesn't serve it justice. It's a work of art, no matter what it's intent was, so I'm going to share it. What do you think?

Great job, I like the new one too!!
Lens flare isn't as cool as it used to be, but then it's also not very visible at the reduced size of your avatar. :D |
