Many of the TS 7.5 features are sooooooo coooool. Here is my favorite saved layout for increasing my workflow. Maybe others might want to post their favorites in this thread?

You must only navigate(and move objects), as almost all the other tools remain in their roll outs...sorry If that is how you like it more power to you....you know those do not have to be individual tool bars right?... go check out my "FREE" tutorial on my setup..it may help you a bit. the link is in my signature.

Hi nowherebrain. I did try your layout setup a few weeks ago. Very nice but it really cluttered up my view space. But is very effective. My layout for me is much simpler and focuses on object movement, camera movement and the different views camera, top, left, perspective etc.

Well this is a potentially very interesting thread. It could be helpful for many folk if people posted screen grabs of their favourite layouts. By visualising different layouts and understanding different workflows I think we can all potentially benefit.

Re Jhowells layout - I see you have collected a group viewpoint icons in one place, object move etc icons and camera view move icons in seperate toolbars which is a great idea. My preference is to use hot keys for all of those functions. Views are all controlled with numpad, Object move, rotate and scale use the "Z","X"and "C" keys, camera motions are controlled using widgets. By hotkeying the most frequently used functions you can do away with quite a range of icons all together and free up even more screen space.

Hot keys for model side are the same as WS only use the shift key as well (thanks to TomG for that idea).

I have a dual screen setup. I do all my final rendering with LightWorks and therefore need a Model view open most of the time - I also tend toward creating detailed and poly-heavy static scenes rather than animations. Thus my setup would not be as useful for anyone wanting to render with Vray or the DX9 realtime renderer. I also rely heavily on the model side Layer functions for hiding and showing various scene components.

So how do you have your set-up?

Hi Wizard, Love your layout. Since I too do my rendering in lightworks your layout would work perfect for me. Anychance you could provide a link to your layout.rsl file? Iam not too good at setting up the layouts yet. Thanks:banana:
