Hi
I am not exactly an active member of this forum neither have i been an active true space user recently, this is mainly due to lack of time. For the past 4 months I have been working every hour god sends on a farm.
You may think, well why?
The reason for me doing this is that tommorow I go on an Expedition to Malawi and Tanzania. This whole point of the Expedition was that the money was raised by the individuals and parents weren't aloud to pay for it.
I am 16 years old just completed my GCSE's and I had to raise £3000 for the expedition its self and £1500 for Kit costs and vaccinations. I am now hugely proud of the fact I have raised this money and I hope it all pays off.
When I get back I won't be working all day every day, which means I will have some free time to relax. Also meaning that I can start using True Space again like I used to and contribute to this forum.
I love using True Space i find it a very easy program to use and i find that great results can be achieved with not that much work.
I hope i can achieve what I have planned out to do and I will speak to you guys when I get back in August:)
Cheers

Best of luck to you Stoker, and don't forget the hard work you did on your GCSE's too. You deserve a rest but not before an adventure. Make the most of your expedition Mark, these are life affirming experiences so enjoy it.
All the best in your exam results and no doubt I will speak to you when you return...keep well, you were a good student...:D |

Well done Stoker - nothing beats the satisfaction of knowing that you did it all yourself. And nothing feeds and broadens the mind like overseas travel. At your time of life thoughts of old age should be a long way from your mind but when eventually you reach a ripe old age it will be the things like your time working toward a goal and the fulfilment of those goals that you will remember with pride.
As we say here in New Zealand: "Good on ya, Mate!"
PS: Don't drink the water.... |

Thanks for kind words guys
Unfortunately I am back earlier than I intended. Whilst out in Malawi i caught Malaria. The hospitals in the country are very basic so the organisation i went with decided it would be best if I were to fly home.
very disapointed that I couldnt continue the expedition but I guess it was probably for the best.
Thanks again
oh and I have got some good pics, maybe al share em once i find my camera...

Shame you had to come home early Stoker. We heard about the Malaria but thought you were over the worst.
Anyways, good to see you are OK and welcome home. Look forward to seeing those pics...:D |
