I posted some of these images on CGtalk. Be warned that if you do the same, they reject multiple submissions i.e. posted in the same hour. Wait a few days detween posts. Still, Superham made it into the online gallery;

So head over there and get some interest in TS7. Did you know it is not in the list of programs used even though programs like Bryce and Vue are...?

Not sure it constitutes a WIP but then again, I knock these out so quickly (and they are based on existing posters) that there is little time to comment..my fault there.

So, any comments on this one?

Alright Paul, after watching a few of your threads I've come to the conclusion that you must be cyborg or robot. You're just too dang fast. I have to say that you do a good job of masking your identity though...make a little mistake here or there, tell some jokes. I'm on to you now though. :)

These are fun Paul. Great work as always. :)

Dele...cannot compute...please clarify your question...error....beep.

Seriously, I am human (only just) but I do work fast. Yesterday I popped out two or three of these, did some testing, set up a portfolio at CGtalk, posted some images elsewhere (3D World forum too) and the wife never noticed I left the front room. I even managed some icons for TS too....phew!

Mind you, I work until about 2-3 am each day...:o

And for tomorrow;

Reservoir Hogs

Hambo: Pig Blood Part 2

and maybe...Monsters Oink

I really need to get back to school.......

Don't get me wrong-it is a great plug-in and all we have until Vray Fur, but pepe's head alone is now about 200,000 polys and my PC is grinding to a halt with this scene...:(

hmmmm how many total polys with the fur in that image?

I've done terrain meshes that after subdividing were over 600k alone is there an upper limit or is it based on computer hardware?

using TS 6.6.

Poly count must be about 200k just for the head. Anyway, a bit of PS work later and I am done with this one. Any suggestions for the next one? I am considering Hambo or Indiana Bones...:rolleyes:

Oh, and excuse the quality of fur...best I could do really.

could have gone with the Billy Crystal character from monsters inc in stead of the John Goodman character ;) no fur to worry about.

Only thing that's boring is the same facial expression on each poster, that's what I miss compared to the old pepe.

Fair point but both the 'Pig's Life' and Monsters Oink images have quite good expressions. Also, pepe used to have most of his expressions done with eyebrows alone...sometimes a different mouth and maybe rotate eyelids. I don't think there is any doubt that the new pepe looks better, but to change an expression means going back to the basic box wireframe and changing the model.

I see your point but they do have different expressions-not the same on each poster...:o

In case you are running out of ideas, which I know you probably won't, how about a poster for Porky Park? :D

Starring WillHam Hurt and Lee Lardin.

Pepe with one of those furry soviet hats... :D

Excellent movie, I'll have to watch it again....

pepe is fine but the old poster that I doctored (yes, I do that sometimes:rolleyes: ) still has remnants of indy at the bottom. I will leave the pig alone but it needs a bit more PS work yet...
