We used to get cold calls like this alot and they always called at teatime :mad: , I gave a telesales person a simlilar mouthful and her Surpervisor called me back demanding an apology:confused: .
I explaned to her that she had intruded on my life, that I had not solicited her companies services and that after several such calls that evening Hell would freeze over before I apologised for their intrusion.:D
Luckily we have an opt out option in the UK and the calls have stopped.... Phew.
I felt better for it too

I'm just glad it was not my call with the guy at RebatesHQ! :D
They deleted my $140 Peachtree rebate within an hour after my last call. :mad:
It was coming up on a year without my rebate after having called numerous times to get their scripted excuses as to why the check hadn't been mailed yet. I meant every nasty word I said.
I hereby publicly curse every employee at RebatesHQ: may they all suffer slow, agonizing and early deaths, when the time comes. :)
So much more money they could have made, too...it's a shame. |
