well I'm brand new so I couldn't help, but I did a search on your
past posts. I think it's weird that you're only just now trying out
the trial, after all that. |

Surely one day is not very long to be 'bumping' up an answer??
Tyler's response speaks volume, and from a relative newcomer. I hold no grudge Jamesmc but you did 'tick' off a few people some months ago and then promptly announced your departure from the forums.
What exactly were you expecting when you posted this, there weren't even any questions...more like musings.
Anyway, you got two replies now... |

I could not find any lighting controls in the tS75 side. Are there any? If so, why not?
You did ask one question...
These links should help you out:

lol get a life! Ive been polite enough to you and so have many. Arent you beginning to feel un-welcome? an overwhelming majority have spoken against you in the past!.
Personally I couldnt care less anymore what you think about TS7 or Caligari's product range. Why should we bother answering you when you state I will never ever buy another trueSpace product because of the snobbery and sanctimonious users on this thread.
*cough* childish *cough*
like most packages you need to take the time and learn how to use it, play about and work things out. It is missing certain tools because its still in development you would have known if you were an active and helpful member of this forum.
Thanks for Reading!

I can't take credit for it, but it sounded so good I had to recycle it here-very appropriate for this thread.
I never understood why people have to come on a forum and bleat about how terrible the product is so they are going to leave. All of that wringing of hands and gnashing of teeth sounds like a desperate cry for other users to say " Oh please don't leave"
We could say that, or merely: "Don't let the door hit you on the way out."
"No really, this time I am gone for good" (He says for the tenth time! :D |

Crikey people - I don't remember this guys previous posts but he must have really upset some.
Just to change the tone a little I've always found this forum friendly and helpful and try not to take criticism (or what I think is criticism!) personally. Having said that jamesmc (may have an attitude but he also) has a point. I think the demo version should have a manual of some kind - or a couple of basic tutes that hit on some of the standard core stuff such as lighting modification. I sure as hell wouldn't be able to make head nor tail of tS7.5 without some documentation. What do other software makers do with their demos? |

You'r right Burnart...
In this "helpful" forum we can't respond why Demo doesn't include the manual... maybe Norm, TomG, Paul or Roman can reply that..
What ever, sorry "i can't handle my big ego.."

Lack of manual for the tS7.5 trial has been brought up before.
See here: http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=3698
Would be good to include one though.
P.S. - jamesmc no longer shows up on the membership list. Not entirely sure but I think that means his account is no longer active. Best for us to move on anyway... |

I thought they had some type of quickStart Guide they were giving with it... but I really do not know. A program as complicated as TS is, should have something along the lines of a manual though. I have been testing a lot of highend software over the last few years, when there is no manual with the program there is either an online manual, or a pretty extensive tutorial area.
That is strictly something that Caligari has decided to do either way...
