Looks really nice Brian, I envision a dark shadowy figure in there somewhere.

Looking MUCH better! There is still one change I would make -the three bright areas in the middle (one on the building, then one each on the two pillars) are a little distracting, especially the big bright one on the building. Whether they are correct in terms of light falling on there or not, I would edit those to remove them :) They draw the eye to them constantly, which means the eye is not looking at all the other items in the scene.

Even just removing that one bright one I think would be enough, and then it leaves the eye free to wander over the rest of the rather rundown, rough, and slightly forbidding environment (and lets the imagination start creating stories around the visuals!)

Thanks for sharing!

Tom

oooohhh... I don't think I'd stop there for coffee... In fact I think I'd get the Hell outta there!

Looks really good Bryan.

So much better than the original version. Well done, you should be pleased with yourself.

If I was going to be picky, I'd have to say that the ground is still a bit pinky for my liking which makes it feel more like a carpet to me! I assume it's coming from the sign but don't want to start offering suggestions if I'm wrong as it'd be pointless (if it is then I can as I did some neon sign stuff a little while ago and learnt quite a bit!). I see you've changed the angle of the rain to a more straight down. I think the slightly more angled version gives it a more ominous feel as it implies a storm.

Only minor points and just my personal preferences. As I said, a vast improvement on the original you should feel all warm and glowy!

ok now that looks great. you've tweaked the fall off of the Neon sign so it looks much better.
